Sharon's 1969 Camaro SS

GM director of global color and trim design Sharon Gauci and her husband Con Gerkis have owned three 1969 Chevrolet Camaros. "Hugger Orange is a signature color," Gauci says. "We were lucky to get the year and color." Gerkis drove to Ohio to bring the car home, where Xena the dog shares it with her owners.

Purchased brand new by his grandfather, this 1967 Chevrolet 3100 spent lots of time in the hot Texas sun. Since bringing it to Michigan, Dan enjoys driving the truck around town and instead of re-painting he has plans to clear coat the exterior in order to preserve the patina that has appeared over the years.

Rusty takes pride in preserving, not restoring, classic vehicles like his 1931 Chevrolet Independence. He considers himself "the car's caretaker for the next person who is willing to preserve and maintain it." [caption courtesy of the Detroit Free Press]
